Mewburn hosts team of future innovators for NCS The Challenge

03 August 2017

As part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, we decided to support the National Citizen Service (NCS) and take part as a professional partner for NCS The Challenge.

The NCS programme is a government-funded initiative for 15-17 year olds. It brings together schools, community organisations, businesses and individuals to build a stronger and more cohesive society. The programme helps young people to develop confidence and learn new skills. During the programme, teams made up of the ‘next generation of innovators’ have to create a project and pitch it to local business leaders, in a challenge dubbed the NCS Dragon’s Den.

This week, we welcomed Team Perham to the Mewburn Ellis office in London to give them an insight into what it is like to work for Mewburn and to help them prepare for their big Dragon’s Den pitch challenge. Team Perham’s project aims to raise money and awareness for The River Trust and encourage the community to get involved with preserving the river in Tower Hamlets. The team really impressed us with their pitching skills and we’re certain they’ll win the dragon’s over!
