Dan is a member of our electronics, computing & physics, and engineering patent teams. Dan has experience in the automotive, telecoms, electronics & electronic engineering, and computer software industries.
Some areas in which Dan has particular expertise include:
Dan has a degree in Physics and Astronomy (MPhys) from the University of Manchester (2008). His PhD is in Astrophysics from the University of Manchester (2013); his Doctoral research included using high-performance computing to discover radio pulsars and transient signals.
Dan also gained industrial experience as a scientist developing signal processing techniques. In particular, this included software engineering in a hardware-software integration context.
Dan joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2013, qualifying as a European Patent Attorney in 2017.
