University of Manchester win at the 2017 Bionow Awards

04 December 2017

Congratulations to University of Manchester researchers, Professors Sheena Cruickshank, John Mclaughlin and Andy Brass for winning the Project of the Year Award at the 2017 Bionow Awards.

The winning project is a test for the management and assessment of inflammatory bowel disease. The test provides a non-invasive method to differentiate IBD from IBS and track IBD disease progression reducing the requirement for endoscopies, providing a robust prognosis for improving system management and patient care.

Partner Frances Salisbury from our life sciences patent team works on the IBD test with the team from The University of Manchester.
