Senior associate, Trade Mark Attorney
Rebecca is a member of our trade mark team dealing with a wide range of work in the UK and before the EUIPO, including prosecution of applications, opposition, revocation and invalidity proceedings. She is also authorised to act before the Irish Patents Office in relation to trade mark matters.
Rebecca regularly advises on trade mark clearance searches and devises international filing strategies.
She has experience working in various industry sectors, including consumer products, retail, pharmaceuticals, professional services, Medtech, electronics & electronic engineering, food & beverage and computer software.
Rebecca has a degree in English from the University of Exeter.
Rebecca joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2012. She qualified as a UK Registered Trade Mark Attorney in 2015 and is a representative authorised to act before the EUIPO. Rebecca was authorised to act before the Irish Patents Office in 2016.
Rebecca is a member of the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA) and regularly attends their annual conference. She is also part of the CITMA Review Editorial Working Group, which is responsible for overseeing the editorial content of the CITMA Review, the membership publication of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
