Victoria is a member of our chemistry & materials patent team. She has particular experience in the pharmaceutical sector with expertise in the following areas:
Her work encompasses drafting, worldwide patent prosecution, oppositions and appeals before the EPO and providing advice to clients regarding their freedom to operate.
Victoria has also gained first-hand experience of in house IP work in a previous role at a multinational pharmaceutical company. Here she focussed on providing opinions on freedom to launch new products and assisted in oppositions at the EPO.
She has a Masters degree in chemistry and patent law from the University of Manchester. In the final year of her studies, she undertook a research project investigating organometallic diquat salts for non-linear optics.
Victoria joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2018 from another London based patent attorney firm. Victoria qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2018 and a Chartered Patent Attorney in 2019.
