We are delighted to announce the promotion of two of our senior associates to partner.
Rebecca Anderson-Smith and Callum McGuinn are being promoted to partner. The promotions will come into effect from 1 April 2021.
A member of our trade mark team in Bristol, Rebecca handles all aspects of trade mark work including managing large trade mark portfolios, devising international filing and enforcement strategies, and negotiating settlements in trade mark disputes. She has extensive experience of trade mark opposition, revocation and invalidity proceedings before the UK Intellectual Property Office, including very complex evidence-based cases.
Based in London, Callum is experienced in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications within our chemistry practice group before the European Patent Office and worldwide. His technical expertise spans a range of fields such as energy storage materials (including battery technologies), polymers, pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering and mechanical inventions. Callum represents clients in oppositions and appeals at the European Patent Office, and has experience conducting extensive freedom to operate analyses.
These promotions sees our partnership expand to 46. We congratulate both Callum and Rebecca on their achievements and we wish them luck and success in their new roles!
