Florian is a trainee patent attorney and part of our life sciences team. His background is in the field of molecular biology, particularly in the context of the human DNA damage response.

Background

Florian has a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology in Health and Disease from the University of Oxford. The focus of his work has been the study of ADP-ribosylation in human DNA damage repair. He has published in notable journals on the subject, particularly regarding the molecular basis of serine ADP-ribosylation and its significance for the cellular toleration of PARP inhibitors, a group of small molecule inhibitors used in the treatment of breast, ovarian and other cancers.

He joined Mewburn Ellis in 2021.
