Background
Rebecca has a MSci degree and PhD in chemistry from the University of Nottingham. The main focus of her doctorate research was to understand how the molecular structure of ionic liquids can influence their inter-ion interactions and bulk/surface properties. She joined Mewburn Ellis in September 2016 and has since gained a post-graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law with Merit from Queen Mary University, London. Rebecca qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2021.
