Victoria is involved in the drafting and prosecution of chemistry patents, as well as oppositions and appeals at the European Patent Office. She also undertakes Freedom to Operate work and validity opinions.

Background
Victoria has a Master’s degree in chemistry and patent law from Manchester University, undertaking a research project investigating organometallic diquat salts for non-linear optics in her final year. She gained first-hand experience of in-house IP work with a multinational pharmaceutical company. She joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2018, qualifying as a European Patent Attorney in 2018 and a Chartered Patent Attorney in 2019.
