Background
Darena has a Physics background with an MSci degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University. She conducted her Master’s project in the field of condensed matter physics and researched the magnetic and Hall properties of selected RE:TM alloys and TM multilayers to simulate their performance as MRAM devices.
Darena joined Mewburn Ellis in 2021 and qualified as a Chartered UK Patent Attorney in 2024.
Awards
In 2024, Darena was awarded CIPA’s Drafting Prize having attained the highest mark in the UK in the drafting exam FD2.
