Read our law and practice guidesLaura is a patent paralegal with over 6 years' experience in IP specialising in patents and designs. Working closely with clients, she coordinates and manages bespoke workflow processes to ensure specific requirements and expectations are met.

- UK, International and European patent filings and prosecution
- National phase patent prosecution worldwide (in particular US and China)
- UK and EPO Grant procedures
- Supporting and processing oppositions and appeals at the EPO
- Managing patent & design portfolios, including take-ons

Laura works with a range of clients from large engineering companies and law firms, to universities, UK start-ups and individual innovators.
Background
Laura has a BA in Human Geography and a MSc in Resource and Environmental Management. She also has a CIPA Certificate in Patent Administration. Laura joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2014.
