He has industrial experience which was gained whilst working for a plant biotechnology company during his undergraduate degree, and also has experience of working in technology transfer at The University of Manchester.

Background
Thomas has a BSc and PhD in biotechnology from the University of Manchester. He has had scientific papers published in the areas of metabolic engineering and biofuels.
He joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2018, qualifying as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2022.
