Associate, Patent Attorney
Camille handles patent work in the field of life sciences, with a particular focus on biotechnology, precision medicine, bioinformatics and synthetic biology.

Camille’s clients include UK-based large and small biotechnology companies, universities and research charities. She also represents overseas clients at the European Patent Office, including multinational pharmaceutical companies, US biotech companies of all sizes, and US universities.
Camille also has a lot of experience in providing IP management advice to companies of all sizes, as well as freedom to operate, validity and infringement, and due diligence advice.
Camille has a Master’s in Bioengineering from the University of Brussels, and a Masters in Computational Biology from the University of Cambridge. She also has a PhD from the University of Cambridge and the EMBL-European Bioinformatics Institute. Her PhD research focussed on the analysis of high-throughput data to identify the effects of drugs and diseases on cellular signalling. Camille joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2019, after joining the profession in 2014 and qualifying as Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2018.
