Background

Foteini has an MChem degree from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Chemical Biology from Imperial College London. Her PhD focused on the development of chemical biology methods to map the binding sites of toxin peptides on sensory ion channels and aid the development of new analgesics. Before completing her doctorate, she undertook an eight-month internship at Genentech in California where she gained biotech R&D work experience.

Foteini joined Mewburn Ellis in 2019, qualifying as a European Patent Attorney in 2023 and as Chartered Patent Attorney in 2024.
