We are recruiting for a Marketing and Business Development Assistant to work in London with our Marketing and Business Development (M&BD) Team.

The role

This is a role for someone bright, commercial, ambitious, and willing to work hard and who is passionate about developing a career in marketing and business development. There will be the opportunity to get involved in a wider range of activities and grow in this role for someone that shows aptitude to do this.

The role with have a range of responsibilities including;

  • Supporting the marketing team with social media, blogs, website updates and email campaigns
  • Supporting internal and external events and team meetings
  • Keep marketing materials, firmwide statistics and proof points up to date
  • Helping with HubSpot CRM system tasks
  • Provide general admin support for the team as needed.

About you

You don’t need to know about IP but it’s obviously an advantage. You also don’t have to have marketing experience or have worked in a law firm, although of course this is useful. What you do need is to be is interested in marketing and business development and a commercial, dynamic and ambitious personality who wants a role where you are part of a strong team that all muck in together to get the job done.

You need to have ideas, take responsibility and be a good communicator with people at all levels. There’s no room for wall flowers or those that look to others to drive change, but equally you will be part of a small team and everyone must support each other and work together. You will also need the emotional intelligence to navigate a complex and very intelligent environment and to be able to bring people with you.

You will be commercially focused and think from a client’s perspective when managing tasks and consider the value that you can add in everything you do. You will be able to operate in a fast-paced environment, have excellent IT skills with experience of CRM systems ideally HubSpot.
