We are recruiting for a Records Administrator to join our IP Support Services function which sits at the heart of our firm, providing vital support to clients and attorneys.

We are recruiting for our Bristol office and if successful you will join our dedicated training programme to bring you up to speed with the requirements of the role. This is a great opportunity to join one of Europe’s top specialist Intellectual Property firms.

The role

The Records department deal with a broad range of activities and play a critical role in ensuring all emails, key communications and application actions are tracked and updated onto our Document Management System. The information can relate to client instructions, grant details including fees and certificates, case actions and invoices. The details will often be complex and time sensitive, therefore attention to detail and the ability to deal with multiple tasks with set deadlines is key to the success of this role.

Our team of Records Administrators are part of a fast-paced department who work as a team to ensure all deadlines are met.

For this role you will ideally you will have experience in a records role and have experience working in an IP firm.

About you

You will have experience of working in fast paced office environment, preferably in a Records team within IP. You will be able to demonstrate team working skills both in the office environment and when working remotely from home. You will have a natural ability to problem solve and be confident in your communication skills, the successful candidate will be interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

You will be self-motivated and have exceptional planning and organisation skills as you will be required to plan and prioritise high volumes of work often with tight deadlines. Attention to detail is critical to this role as you will need to be able to identify and extract relevant data from complex information sources.

Candidates must have good IT skills and be familiar with all MS Office packages and have experience of using a document management system. We use a range of in-house IT systems and workflows so the ability to learn and utilise new systems and processes is important.
