Scott is a member of our life sciences patent team working in the biotechnology sector.

Scott has experience prosecuting patent applications for both local and international clients, and has worked on offensive and defensive oppositions before the EPO.
He has an MSci in Pharmacology from the University of Glasgow, which included a year spent working in industry at Pfizer’s Sandwich laboratories. His PhD in Neuroscience is from Imperial College London. His doctoral research focused upon neuronal mechanisms of anaesthesia and neuroprotection.
Scott joined Mewburn Ellis in 2015, qualifying as a Chartered Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney in 2018.
